You can choose to pay in full online as we accept all major credit cards and PayPal. You can also pay in cash at the time of delivery. If you choose to pay in cash, there is a small partial payment of $199 or less (depending on the distance of your shipment) when you place your order to secure your car’s spot on a truck.

Yes, you can. If you want to pay in full online you can do so at booking by choosing the ‘Regular Price.’ With this option, you can make a convenient, one-time payment with a credit or debit card, as well as through PayPal.

The total cost depends on a few components:

  • Type of vehicle: size and weight
  • Condition: running or not running. Running means the engine starts and the car moves on its own power. Not running means the car does not start.
  • Type of trailer: open or enclosed
  • Distance/mileage: amount of miles between your ‘to’ and ‘from’ locations
  • Location: metro or rural area
  • Modifications: lowered, lifted, larger tires, racks on top, etc.
  • Seasonal fluctuations: seasonal supply and demands change on certain routes

Yes, as specified by Federal Law, a trucker must be paid in full for services rendered. It is also in your best interest to pay the trucker in full. If you withhold the trucker’s payment partially or in full, he/she can legally hold the vehicle, until all applicable fees are paid. But not to worry, we are here to help! If you experience any difficulties, don’t hesitate to contact us.

Truckers prefer cash and are willing to do the job for less if they are guaranteed to get payment at the time of completion without having to wait to be paid afterwards. Cash can be in the form of a Cashier’s Check or Money Order, any form of certified funds. It cannot be a credit card or personal check. If you choose to pay with a Cashier’s Check or Money Order, we’ll tell you whom it should be made out to.

If you pay in full with a credit card you will not owe anything to the trucker at delivery. If instead you chose the “Discounted Cash Price” option you must pay the trucker in Cash or Certified Funds. Certified funds can include a Cashiers Check or Money Order (but not a Personal Check nor Credit Card.)

How do I pay for my car transport?

1. Discounted cash price
Truckers are more willing to haul your vehicle at a discounted rate when you pay in cash. With this option, a partial payment is due at booking. You pay the remaining balance directly to the trucker at time of delivery or pickup in either cash, cashier’s check or money order.

Why make a partial payment?
So our customer care department knows the order placement is complete and ready for dispatch.

2. Regular price
With this option, you can pay-in-full by credit card or through PayPal when you schedule your shipment.

No. Shipping a vehicle is a tax-exempt service. Montway’s prices are all-inclusive and there are no additional nor hidden fees.

No. If you choose our discounted cash price option and elect to pay the majority of transport cost at delivery in exchange for a lower rate, you must pay the driver in either cash or certified funds. Certified funds would include Cashiers Check and Money Order. Credit Cards are not accepted by truckers because they have no means to process them and personal checks are also not accepted.

Yes, the discount will vary depending on how many vehicles and other particulars of the order. To qualify for a multi-vehicle discount all vehicles will need to be going on the same truck from and to the same place. It depends on the status of your order:

Not dispatched order
If your order has NOT been assigned (dispatched) for loading, your payment is fully refundable.

Dispatched order
If your order HAS been assigned (dispatched) for loading, your payment is refundable, less a $199 service fee or the amount of your partial payment, whichever is less.
